  One of my absolute favorite street taco joints in town. The salsa bar has loads of stuff to put on your taco (including THE spiciest salsa in town I guarantee you). The pastor is incredible here and you can't go wrong with the carnitas or chorizo.
  
  Brush up on your Spanish and grab some killer $2 tacos.

  My wife and I made a unique date night out to Gordo's. This is a great hole-in-the-wall is known in Homewood for authentic Mexican foods. Be sure to check out the entire strip, Gordo's sells cakes, meats and there's a taqueria for dining. Stop by and practice your Spanish, staff also speak English well if you don't.
